| Create DiskPatch Bootable Media |

Once DiskPatch has been installed on your system, click Start, Programs, DIY DataRecovery DiskPatch, Boot Disk Builder:

The Boot Disk Builder offers 3 options: |
1. Create boot diskette: this option helps you to create a bootable diskette. Use the resulting diskette to boot the PC and run DiskPatch
|
2. Create boot CD: this option helps you to burn a bootable CD. Use the resulting CD to boot the PC and run DiskPatch
|
3. Extract Disk Patch: copy the DiskPatch program to a location you choose. The executable (DP.EXE) will be extracted from the diskette image and copied to a drive you select. Use this option if you wish to create a custom boot disk or bootable USB key, and copy the program (DP.EXE) to the new bootable disk or drive yourself. |

DiskPatch system requirements: |

DiskPatch only operates on hard disks that can be accessed using the extended int13h interface -
these would include IDE, (x)ATA(x) and SCSI disks. DiskPatch can also operate on hardware RAID arrays.

Operating System: any MS-DOS compatible DOS version.
